Ahh I finished my workout! 359 calories burned in 40 minutes! I'm so happy with myself for sticking with this and pushing myself! About ready to have baked chicken breast with a great big salad for a treat! YUM!!
I also broke down and purchased a HRM from Amazon and it arrived today! It was awesome to know the exact amount of calories I burned in my workout instead of just guestimating! I would recommend it to anyone!

Overcoming my cravings :)
Hello everyone!
Today is day four of my hardcore, let's get crazy fit by 2015 diet! So far this week has been fairly easy for me. I have worked out every single night after work with my friend and workout partner! She is in the same situation as I am, so we help each other out a lot! Today, we are doing Focus T25 Lower Body Focus. Ouch, my legs are already sore from Total Body Circuit, so I can just imagine what climbing the stairs will do to me tomorrow! My meals have been fairly healthy today, even though I had a major craving for bacon this morning, I managed to make a healthy meal out of it! If anyone is interested in seeing my actual caloric breakdown of each meal feel free to check out my diary on MyFitnessPal! My username is marissalea93. I decided that my short term goal for now is to lose one dress size by January 4th, which is the date of a wedding I am in. How great would that be?
Here was my meals today so far:
Breakfast: Lowfat Bacon (2 slices), Lettuce, & Tomato on Wheat bread with light mayo.
Morning Snack: Fruit & Yogurt with an ounce of low fat granola
Lunch: Lowfat Ham Sandwich on flatbread with american cheese; 1/2 scoop chocolate shakeology, 8 oz. skim milk.
Thanks for reading everyone!

Meet the author!
Hello everyone!
So bear with me, this is my first every blog, and hopefully I'm not too much of a novice at this! So I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Marissa, and I'm 20 years old. I work full time as a receptionist at a local office, attend school full-time at a local college, and still manage to have a meager social life! With my time being constantly divided out between work, school, and spending time with family and friends, I find it nearly impossible to worry about my health most of the time. I find myself frequenting fast food restaurants (Subway & Taco Bell are my weaknesses!), lounging around, and basically pushing myself farther and farther into the realm of unhealthy living. I recently decided that it was time for a change. I ordered Focus T25, purchased Chocolate Shakeology, and, at no surprise, saw it gather dust on my shelf, unopened. No more of this mindless procrastination! I'm young, energetic, and I NEED to be healthy! If I'm unhealthy at 20, can you imagine ten years from now? **shudder** So, long story short, I started this blog to help keep track of my journey, one post at a time. I hope to lose 19 lbs by January 1st, which will take me to the overweight mark instead of the obese mark. Through the help of MyFitnessPal, Team Beachbody, and my close friends and family, I hope to stay accountable for these goals, and be healthy by 2015! If you're interested in seeing my short-term vs. long-term goals, feel free to comment and I will gladly email you!
